Un viaggio visionario tra arte ed eccessi, con Val Kilmer che incarna Morrison con un’intensità che va oltre l’imitazione. Torna al cinema nel restauro 4K del Director’s Final Cut, supervisionato dallo stesso Stone.

Music and Cinema. The Legend of Jeff Buckley.
On Thursday 23 July at 9.30 pm, the second event in the LATO B series, organised by Umbria Green Festival and PerSo – Perugia Social Film Festival in collaboration with CineGatti and Cinema Zenith Perugia. Antonio Pascale will introduce the evening.

It sheds new light on one of the most influential and mysterious figures in contemporary music, the late Jeff Buckley, *It’s Never Over*, the documentary film by Oscar-nominated director Amy Berg, which will be screened at the Giardini del Frontone in Perugia on Thursday 23 July at 9.00 pm, as part of the film festival  the LATO B cinema and music event, organised by the Umbria Green Festival and PerSo – Perugia Social Film Festival, in collaboration with CineGatti and Cinema Zenith Perugia. Antonio Pascale will introduce the evening.

A rising star of the American indie music scene, with an otherworldly voice and an innovative artistry capable of transcending all boundaries, Jeff Buckley passed away in 1997 at the age of 30, just a few years after the release of his acclaimed debut album *Grace*, leaving the music world in shock. The acclaimed film by Berg (previously the director of *Deliver Us from Evil* and *Janis: Little Girl Blue, West of Memphis), now brings his life to the big screen for the first time, through previously unseen archive footage and moving testimonies from his mother Mary Guibert, his former partners Rebecca Moore and Joan Wasser, former members of his band, including Michael Tighe and Parker Kindred, and artists such as Ben Harper and Aimee Mann.

Over the years, it has been described as “obscenity at an infantile level (sound effects included)” (Oreste Del Buono), “the ugliest film in the history of Italian cinema” (Morando Morandini), and “an absolute masterpiece of trash cinema” (Roberto Poppi).

Arrapaho is a wildly absurd gay western-musical comedy that won over the unruly youth of the 1980s from the outset and eventually became a cult favorite, openly reveling in trash aesthetics, shoestring-budget filmmaking, and Monty Python-inspired comedy.
